About Me

Business writing has been my business for a long time.

Since I began freelancing in 2009, I’ve worked with dozens of clients on everything from informative blog posts to features and case studies on subjects ranging from investing to personal finance to small business (and much, much more)!

I started my journalism career in 2004 as a reporter with Fund Strategy magazine in London, U.K. and before joining the freelance world, I worked as an associate editor at Law Times/Canadian Lawyer magazine and community content editor at Stockhouse.com.

Before embarking on my journalism career, I also worked as a multilingual translator (French-English, Spanish-English) for a major financial institution in Toronto.

But there's more:

  • I've completed the Canadian Securities Course

  • I'm a member of the Canadian Association of Journalists

  • I was a finalist for the SABEW Canada 7th Annual Best in Business Awards (best trade article) in 2020

  • I'm an amateur wine enthusiast (WSET Level 2)
